The new WRC S6 Fiberglass version 2.0 body kit is the most authentic you can buy on the market.
This is the second version of the body kit, which has been completely redesigned and updated.
This is a 100% WRC S6 design.
Which was derived from the original rally car.
All parts are made of fiberglass. In some photos you will see carbon parts as an example.
These parts were installed on my Type-R, painstakingly restored to the shape and symmetry to OEM quality of the final product and then re-created new molds for production.
I do not call this body kit a WRC, just to sell it. It implies something more. This was made by me with great love for the GC8 body, and attention to detail and that rally era.
Most manufacturers that use WRC in their name do so only for marketing purposes. As a rule, taking the 22B body kit as a basis, they mix different body parts, and also simply increase the wheel arches or the width of body parts to become more similar to the original and call it WRC, without understanding the difference with the original design of the rally car.
In the updated version The front bumper will allow you to install the original WRC S6 front splitter Tarmac spec. The central diffuser is made with an inclination for installing the V-mount system. And now you can also install the OEM turn signal without additional brackets.
The front fenders have been completely redesigned. All gaps and inner planes were based on the original Type-R iron fenders, the outer part of which received the shape of a WRC car while maintaining the necessary symmetry of the left and right fenders.
The kit includes internal front arches made in the same way as on WRC cars. When your suspension takes bumps, jumps or you lower the car for asphalt racing or install wider wheels, you can now avoid the tire touching the inner part of the body.
To avoid unnecessary deformation of the body panels, all body parts were installed on the car with all the gaps and symmetry between them before new molds were made for production.
The side skirts are made as a single piece with a clean design without plastic trim, authentic to the WRC car and do not need putty during installation. Also, much attention was paid to the connection with the front wing and rear quarter panel so that it would be as good as the OEM car.
The new rear quarter panel is now one piece in OEM style.
And also in the kit will be supplied a rear inner arch with a reinforcement. It is designed taking into account the kinematics of the suspension and is much higher than the edge of the arch. Now you have a lot of space on top, so as not to limit the wheel displacement.
The rear quarter panel can also be supplied in different versions. It can be made together with the inner part which is located behind the rear bumper if your car has suffered a lot from rust.
Or a one-piece panel which includes the inner part near the door on which the door lock is attached.
The rear bumper has been much better adjusted to the rear quarter panels, and the symmetry of the lower part of the diffuser has also been corrected.
Ultimately, installation now takes much less time, this reduces welding work and preparation for painting.
